Guidelines for purchasing airline tickets with a small purchase number.

For those units who use Trip Logic (formerly Custom Travel) for airline reservations the  following guidelines should be followed in order to secure the rates that are quoted when reservations are placed.

All invoices for travel must be given to your departmental accounting technician no later than 2pm for a voucher to be generated to Trip Logics on the same day.

Voucher numbers are to be provided to Trip Logics by 4:15pm.  This will enable the staff at Trip Logics to complete their work to secure the

reservation.

Pluto’s Status brings reporters’ questions.

The International Astronomical Union’s change in the classification of Pluto from a planet to a dwarf planet brought a number of news media questions. Steve Reynolds and Robert Egler were recently interviewed concerning the issue by reporters for local radio stations and newspapers.
