Cox Hall Power Shutdown. There will be a COMPETE power shutdown for Cox Hall on Saturday, June 29, from 7 am until 7 pm.


"Spotlight on..." Physics Staff. Our continuing series for recognition of the SPA staff in Physics. Every two months we'll feature another staff member on a poster in the glass cases near the Cox elevators and the "Physics News" bulletin board outside the main office toward Dabney.

Take a look when you pass by the posters.

There will be a pizza lunch for Becky in the Richard Patty Room, 201 Daniels Hall on Wednesday, June 26 at 12:00 noon. Everyone is invited!


Robert Egler recently served as part of a consulting group for the U.S. Coast Guard Recruiting Command on a strategy for approaching colleges and universities with the focus on Coast Guard officer recruiting.

Reminder about addressing outgoing mail. The University pays a surcharge to the US Post Office whenever the percentage of outgoing mail improperly addressed is excessive. Please remember to address outgoing mail in the following format:

1) Typed address

2) All Capital letters

3) No Punctuation

4) Proper 2 letter abbreviation for state.

5) ATTN: notice should be FIRST line of address.

Example of correct address style:

BRILLIANT UNIVERSITY
