Use of FedEx ground shipping discouraged due to recent difficulties.

We have experienced problems with FedEx ground shipping service and therefore we are advising that you stop using this service. We recommend that you use regular FedEx three day service (Express saver). Rates for this service are comparable. FedEx three day service is often faster than the FedEx ground service, because with FedEx ground service after the package was ready it would sit two or more days before it was picked up by FedEx.

UPS ground service is available through Central Receiving, but we are finding that we do not receive much of a discount by using UPS Ground Service, and additionally you will have to transport the package to the loading dock at Central Receiving.

Happy Summer Solstice!
