Congratulations to Ina Lunney and Leslie Moon, SPA nominees for the University Award for Excellence. A reception honoring the nominees and announcing the winner of the PAMS Award for Excellence will be held on April 8, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in 210 Dabney Hall. Please join us at the reception to recognize Leslie and Ina for their hard work, dedication and effectiveness.

Special thanks to the faculty who demonstrated both thoughtfulness and generosity in nominating Ina and Leslie: Drs. Blondin, Gould, Hallen, Krim, Mitas, Reynolds and Rowe. This effort is sincerely appreciated by both the nominees and the members of the Awards for Excellence Committee.

April 2 Faculty Meeting on Centennial Campus. The upcoming faculty meeting will be held on Centennial campus in Science House, and will be preceded by a reception in the home our latest Centennial partner- Academic Information Systems (home of WebAssign) - in Venture I. Send agenda items to Rebecca Savage, but in any case make plans to enjoy a visit to AIS to see the WebAssign team in their new surroundings.

Schedule: 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. - reception (better than usual drinks and snacks!) at AIS in Venture I, suite 210 (940 Main Campus Drive)

4:00 to 4:05 p.m. - walk back over the bridge to Science House.

4:05 to 5:00 p.m. Faculty meeting in Suite 1200 Research Building IV (909 Capability Drive.) Parking suggestion: park across from RB IV or RB II, and walk to Venture 1 (5 minutes). If you want to park next to Venture I, get a sticker from the information booth going into Centennial.

FedEx Automatic pick up has been suspended for Mondays. We were not generating enough business to continue to be able to have automatic pick up 5 days a week so in order not to be charged additional for pick ups we had to discontinue one day a week. You can still ship by FedEx on Mondays you will just need to arrange for the package to be picked up on Mondays (only).

Faculty Annual Reports are now due. Faculty who have not already done so should submit their annual activity reports to Rebecca Savage ( Rebecca_Savage@ncsu.edu ).

Electronic format preferred (Microsoft Word or text), but hardcopy is acceptable.
