Happy Vernal Equinox!

March 20

Astronomy Trivia Time! What is the Vernal Equinox? On the date of the Vernal Equinox (the first day of spring, also known as the "Spring Equinox") the sun is directly over the Earth's equator moving North. Between the Vernal Equinox and the Autumnal Equinox (generally about September 21), the sun is above the Earth's Northern Hemisphere.
