Physics Firsts
There are a number of interesting and inspirational Physics Firsts accomplishments that have happened here in the departments history. We have added them to the website to allow more people to learn about the wide and varying impact physics has on the the world yesterday, today and tomorrow.

The world's first fully electric guitar was created by a physicist here at NC State in 1940.
