TEACHING ASSISTANT PROFESSORS
Applications are invited for two full-time non-tenure-track teaching assistant professor positions in the NC State University Department
of Physics beginning in the fall semester of 2008. The initial appointment is for five years with possible renewal and promotion in
rank. In addition to teaching, responsibilities may include course administration for introductory physics, supervising laboratory
sections, mentoring, and/or other roles shaped by the strengths and interests of the individual. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in physics or
