Course Comparisons for PY 205/208: M vs. N vs. SCALE-UP

NOTE! - Physics Tutorial Services - ROOM CHANGES COMING NOVEMBER 2nd

Beginning Fall 2009, physics tutoring at the PTMC in Fox Hall will no longer be offered. Instead, help sessions for PY 205/208 and 211/212 will be conducted Monday through Thursday from 5-7 PM in Riddick Hall:

  • PY 205M and 208M help sessions will be in Riddick 319
  • no changes

  • PY 205N and 208N help sessions will be in Riddick 319A
  • PY 205N and 208N help sessions will be in Riddick 319 - Starting November 2nd

  • PY 211 and 212 help sessions will be in Riddick 106
  • PY 211 and 212 help sessions will be in Riddick 319a - Starting November 2nd

Limited walk-in tutorial staff will be available M-F in 319a from 11:30am until 1:20pm

Note: Riddick 319 is located across the hall from the Riddick Hearth (main atrium). Riddick 319A is located in hall adjacent the main entrance on Stinson Dr.

Help sessions will be run by graduate teaching assistants. There will be no planned lessons; instead, students should come in with questions, preferably after having looked at the homework assignments.

For PY 205/208, help sessions will still be offered on the Tuesdays of common evening tests. Additional hours may be offered as well; check your course website or talk to your instructor later in the semester.
